Reign Of Terror Anna Faris Accuses

Anna Faris, who plays a lead role in the film My Super Ex-Girlfriend, has claimed that she was subjected to a “reign of terror” by director Ivan Reitman.

Faris played a girl with superpowers who gets left by her lover and then proceeds to wreck his life in this 2006 comedy picture, although she claims that working with Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman was not a pleasant experience.

The accusations are not new from Faris, but this is the first time she has connected them to the filmmaker who died away in February.

Anna Faris told her podcast guest Lena Dunham that working with Reitman was a nightmare because he “slapped [her] ass” and “yelled” at her.

“One of my hardest film experiences was with Ivan Reitman. I mean, the idea of attempting to make a comedy under this, like, reign of terror, he was a yeller. He would bring down somebody every day, and my first day, it was me.”

When Dunham said she didn’t think Faris was “the first person” to remark on Reitman’s conduct, Faris said “it was, like, 2006” and she didn’t think she could report or speak about his activities back then.

Moreover, the actress said that her agent was informed that she was cast in My Super Ex-Girlfriend due only to the attractiveness of her legs.

Then she made the following observation:

“I remember looking around and I remember seeing the crew members being like, ‘Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.’ And that’s how I dismissed it. I was like, ‘Well, this isn’t a thing. Like, it’s not that big of a deal. Buck up, Faris. Like, just giggle.’ But it made me feel small. He wouldn’t have done that to the lead male.”

Many stories and allegations were made concerning maltreatment and improper conduct by many producers, directors, and performers after the first accusations against Harvey Weinstein sparked the #MeToo movement.

Earlier, Faris made accusations about her 2017 encounter with Reitman, but she never named the filmmaker.
