Newcomer to the horror scene and star of the recent smash hit Smile, Kyle Gallner, will co-star with Roden. There has been no announcement on who would play which parts, but the logline, as reported by Deadline, goes as follows: “In the movie, a man’s fiancée begins acting like his recently-deceased mother, driving him to face his greatest traumas to free her from the perplexing possession.”
The film’s concept promises an exciting plot, and its premiere in spring 2023 means that viewers won’t have to wait too long to see it. Daisy Long, who will also choreograph a supernatural dance scene in the film, serves as a producer with Rodem, Dane Eckerle, and Daniel Brandt. The film is directed and written by Laurence Vannicelli.
In addition to RajStrived and Alex Whitney, the film’s executive producers are Sam Slater, Paul Bernon, and Phil Keefe. The worldwide gross for ‘Smile’ has now exceeded $92 million.
“By weaving together mystical themes, director Lawrence Vannicelli and his crew have created a real original and a picture that will stay with you long after you’ve seen it. Mother May I? is edgy, emotional, and breaks new ground, thanks in large part to its outstanding ensemble.

Many, though, will always remember her as Lydia Martin from the popular TV show Teen Wolf. Teen Wolf: The Movie, a cinematic continuation of the series, will premiere on Paramount+ on January 26, 2023, and she is expected to reprise her role as the character.
In addition to Mother, May I?, she is set to appear in Andy Palmer’s comedic The Re-Education of Molly Singer, which is set for release simultaneously.
