Migos Rapper Takeoff killed at 28 in Houston

Hollywood rapper Takeoff from the chart-topping group Migos was found dead Tuesday after he was killed outside a bowling alley in Houston shooting. The rapper, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was aged 28.

Rapper Takeoff from the chart-topping group Migos was shot dead on Tuesday at the age of 28 in Houston outside a bowling alley.

The star whose real name was Krishnik Khari Ball was believed to be playing dice with his uncle and bandmate and was found dead outside the 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley. According to police, the shooting took place around 2:30 local time. The investigating team from the local police department said around 40 to 50 guests were present at a private party when someone opened fire.

The police said Takeoff was pronounced dead when they arrived at the crime scene as a result of a gun wound to the head or neck. 

Media outlets identified the victim as Migos Rapper Takeoff, however, the police held their verdict of officially announcing the victim’s identity till his family had been notified. 

Paying tribute to the Grammy-nominated rapper, his record label said in a statement, “Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated.”

As soon as the news was all over social media tribute messages started coming for the late rapper. 

Gucci Mane shared a picture of the rapper on Instagram in which he said the news of Takeoff’s death “broke my heart” Mane recently collaborated with Takeoff and his uncle along with his bandmate Quavo on the song US vs. Them. 

While renowned music executive Cole Bennett wrote on his Twitter account that, “nothing makes sense anymore. nothing at all” after the shocking death of the musician.

The killing is currently under investigation by the Houston Police department. The Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said “Based on what people say about him, he’s well respected, non-violent. While he stated he did not want to speculate anything before if Takeoff was the target.
