After an explosive interview by Cristiano Ronaldo on TalkTv, Manchester United is looking to part ways with the star footballer, and the management is thinking of not giving him a pay-off to leave.
Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that the club’s management is trying to force him out of Old Trafford and doubted him when he could not attend the pre-session because of his daughter’s illness as she was admitted to the hospital.
According to a short statement by the club said on Friday they would consider their response to Ronaldo’s allegation. The statement stated the club has “initiated appropriate steps” to investigate the situation.
Manchester United have not announced a time frame yet for the investigation process but it is expected they want Ronaldo’s exit as soon as possible. The club aims to lay off the 37-year-old footballer in a most dignified manner to minimize distraction at Old Trafford.
It is expected a resolution will be reached out soon by Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo.
