The whole nation is flooded with the news of the mission Chandrayaan 2 these days. Be it elderly, young or a kid everyone is concerned about the much talked about ISRO’s mission to moon Chandrayaan 2. A big portion of the credit goes to ISRO’s chief K Sivan.
ISRO chairman K Sivan who is much talked about these days not only in Tech world but worldwide has made a tremendous leap in luring the interests of today’s generation towards the Space programmes of India i.e. ISRO.
Much has been talked about the Vikram Lander which had lost communication with the orbiter but lets talk about the man of the moment K Sivan.
K Sivan is son of a farmer and studied in a Tamil medium Government school in Mela Sarakkalvilai Village. Many would be surprised to know that K Sivan s the first graduate from his family.
Sivan at that point got a graduate degree in advanced plane design from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1982. Sivan completed his PhD from IIT Bombay in 2006 and also holds an honorary doctorate in science from Sathyabama University, which he received in 2014.
For his contribution to space research, the rocket scientist has received many awards, including the Shri Hari Om Ashram Prerit Dr Vikram Sarabhai Research Award in 1999, ISRO Merit Award in 2007, and Dr. Biren Roy Space Science Award in 2011.

India is surely blessed to have such a remarkable personality in the field of Space Research. India’s hope for success in Space missions is totally on ISRO’s Chairman K Sivan to which he has delivered exceedingly well as of now and we hope the same in the coming years.
